The 3172PQ and XL come with 48 fixed 10 GbE SFP+ (can utilize as 100 Mbps, 1Gbps, and 10 Gbps) ports and 6 QSFP+ ports. The 3172TQ and XL has 48 fixed 10 GBASE-T (can utilize as 100 Mbps, 1Gbps, and 10 Gbps) ports and 6 QSFP+ Ports. The 3172TQ-32T has 32 fixed 10 GBASE-T ports with a license to enable 48 (can utilize as 100 Mbps, 1Gbps, and 10 Gbps) ports and 6 QSFP+ ports. Each of these models can utilize either port side exhaust or port side intake along with dual redundant power supplies (AC or DC) and redundant fans. These switches are optimized for top of the rack deployment utilizing low power consumption and low line rate operation.
