SEESUO DWDM SFPs are available in all 100 GHz C-band wavelengths on the DWDM ITU grid. They are designed to Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards to ensure broad network equipment compatibility. As multirate interfaces they support any protocol from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps. The modules are hot pluggable and digital diagnostic functions area vailable via an I2C serial bus specified in the SFP MSA SFF-8472. The modules meet the requirements of the IEEE802.3 Gigabit Ethernet standard and ANSI Fibre Channel specifications, and are suitable for interconnections in Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel environments. DWDM modules operate at nominal Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing(DWDM) wavelengths. 45 wavelengths are available from 1529.55nm–1564.68nm in a100GHz (~0.8nm)channel spacing. The DWDM characteristics are fully compliant to the wavelength parameters specified in ITU standards G.692 and G.694.1 .

SEESUO’s DWDM is a high-performance and cost-effective Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing SFP transceiver module for SDH STM-16/SONET OC-48 and 2x Fibre Channel long reach (LR-2) application. The 2.5Gbps DWDM SFP module provides high capacity, high bandwidth communication solutions for multiplexed optical networks. This DWDM SFP transceiver module supports a 120km transmission distance of 9/125µm single-mode fiber. It features a highly reliable DWDM DFB transmitter and APD photo-detector into a duplex LC optical connector.
Additionally, the DWDM SFP module has been integrated with an enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface (DDM) per SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power, and transceiver supply voltage. These parameters are internally calibrated by default.
